This book is about us, a few billion entities built in as many unique and unrepeatable molecular configurations, the result of countless evolutionary steps – powerful through our potential, yet rendered feeble through our conventional education.  If anything, my intention is not to convince or convert you to some new form of thinking, but to place a mirror in front of your conditioning. What you will choose to do after you see the conditioning you were raised and educated under – is entirely up to you.                                                                                                              Read more...

Hello and Welcome to Evolutionary Exploration, a project that attempts to open a door into how we can functionally use our brain. The following is a brief description about what the book and the work is and what it is not.  I hope that you will find the information interesting and I am looking forward to being in touch.  ~ Bogdan Heretoiu

The brain conditioning phenomena that has been dividing our species for so long - and will most likely continue to do so - is in essence a reflection of human tragedy as people face the inevitable complexity of evolution.   The "unknown" can easily trigger feelings of fear, insecurity, instant need of "belonging", and an almost obsessive need for acknowledgment and reassurance.  When that happens, the human brain is at its most vulnerable state, easily taken advantage of by those who wish to condition every human being to a standardized behavior, thinking, and belief system.

This book describes a process of using our brain without the crutches of superstition, mysticism, and even new-age type of mental filtering.  We all go about our daily lives without a second thought about the processes involved, yet, when it comes to considering to use our brain and explore our potential, we suddenly take illogical leaps into mysticism and divine awe.  We have thoughts every second of our lives, yet when it comes to considering matters of consciousness, emotion, and awareness we no longer regard these phenomena as natural occurrences of life, but rather as divine manifestations of a power beyond and above ourselves.

"Evolutionary Exploration" presents a framework for individual experiential research into accessing various brain processes and how we can use our brain both as a subject of exploration as well as the instrument of exploration.

Think of this book as child's play.  Exploring and learning about our own brain is not a domain reserved only for scientists or philosophers.  Every single human being that lives or will live on this planet has both the ability and the right to explore, experiment, learn, then apply what they learn and share it with others.  After all, the process that I describe in this book takes place all the time within each and every one of us.  "Hidden" literally under our skull, resides the obvious and simple secret to a fascinating journey of self-discovery.  All you need is curiosity and a little bit of courage to step outside of the boundaries within which we have all been conditioned to function.

The book contains two parts, a theoretical part and a practical one.  The application of the experiments described in the second part of the book is in direct relationship with the fact that every single process and phenomena that we are involved with during our life is initiated by our brain and accomplished through our brain.  Whether we think, pray, meditate, love, hate, laugh, cry, learn, play, sleep, breathe, eat, blink, or walk we are able to do so because of and through our brain.  By accessing the process that precedes the interpretative state, we create the possibility to reclaim the state of functionality that allows us to directly tap into our brain’s potential.

"Evolutionary Exploration" reveals a natural way of functioning from an experiential point of view rather than from a human-made interpretative perspective while also providing ways to apply its basic principles to our day-to-day life.

You may wonder by now if this book is about meditation, the human brain and its functioning, consciousness and awareness, religious experience, spirituality, self-improvement, evolutionism, or free thinking and inquiring.  You may try to assign a particular category to the book, such as new age, philosophy, psychology, neuroscience and brain research, or self-help, so, if you wish to find out more before purchasing the book, you can read more about...what this work is and what this work is not.  I also suggest reading the Q & A page, for additional information.

Please note: There are a number of purchasing options available for this book. The thought behind creating different formats was the desire to make the book affordable for everyone interested to read it. There will be a few low-budget options available for special circumstances (students, members of study groups, etc.) Visit the Shop to purchase your copy.
