As a native of Bucharest, Romania, I grew-up within a rich and colorful culture, filled with fairytales and heroic legends. An avid mountaineer, I spent my childhood and adolescence hiking along the paths of national legends such as Burebista, Decebal, and Vlad Tepes, commonly known as Dracula.

As a filmmaker, I studied in Romania for three years at a Film and Theater University while also working in Television. I produced two TV Shows as well as a series of Commercials for National and Multi-National Corporations.

Upon my arrival in the United States and after studying Film for another three years, I dedicated myself to the world of Documentaries, working with Non-Profit Foundations such as The National Parkinson Foundation, The Children’s Trust and its affiliates, The American Teachers Federation, the Mochary Foundation, etc. All throughout this time I was also involved in various Commercial work either as a Producer, Director, Director of Photography, as well as film instructor.

Teaching

I had the pleasure and honor to experience working in Academia and teaching High-School and College students. It was an invaluable experience, for which I am grateful and I hope that some of my students will continue to pursue their dreams inspite of a highly demanding and competitive industry.

Currently, I continue to offer private workshops in Photography, Screenwriting, and Film Production. "Tell Your Story in Moving Images" is a series of workshops that covers production from A to Z, in a "crash-course"-like format. Passions and Hobbies

I am known to always live as intensly as possible, mainly because ever since childhood I had a sense of life's briefness and value. My passion for photography and cinematography has become my profession, however, there are few more passions and hobbies that I keep very dear:
